The story of this gallery
Originally from France and now based in Québec, I am an artist and the founder of this private gallery.
My practice has developed over the past decade, beginning with oil painting and gradually expanding into a broader exploration of media, including watercolor, acrylic, drawing, and more. This diversity reflects a constant desire to experiment through techniques, textures, and surfaces and to continuously evolve my visual language.
My work moves between figurative and abstract forms, guided by intuition, emotion, and atmosphere. Each piece becomes a space for research and discovery, where process and material play a central role. This gallery extends that same philosophy. It is conceived as a personal and independent space, dedicated not only to my own work but also to artists working in close dialogue with my practice. I am particularly interested in fostering connections with artists whose approaches resonate on a technical, conceptual, or material level.
Through this platform, I aim to create an environment that values process, experimentation, and the singular voice of each artist.

My process
Each painting begins long before the first layer of paint.
I work on hand-prepared wood panels, developed in collaboration with a local artisan. Every support is carefully constructed and primed multiple times, with adjustments made depending on whether the final work will be in oil or acrylic. Conservation and longevity are integral to my practice, guiding each technical decision from the outset.
My painting process unfolds through the accumulation of thin, successive layers. I work slowly, building depth over time. Between layers, I often use abrasive paper to subtly alter the surface, revealing underlying strata and creating shifts in transparency. This interplay between addition and removal allows the image to emerge gradually, somewhere between control and unpredictability.
The works remain untitled. As abstract compositions, they are not meant to impose a fixed reading. I am interested in leaving space for interpretation, allowing each viewer to project their own perceptions, memories, and associations onto the surface.
